Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Departure
Rise early for a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge, then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing with the expert rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family to track, and soon after, set out on your trek through the misty rainforest. The trek can take from 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location, but the highlight is the magical one hour spent observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
